Sustainability in action

In early 2023, we embarked on a mission to standardise our freight management process, aiming to enhance visibility and minimise unnecessary journeys within our supply chain.

Our focus included identifying opportunities to decrease the reliance on premium, higher-cost, and carbon-intensive freight methods, such as air freight, while still ensuring timely delivery. Collaborating with major freight suppliers, we implemented enhanced data collection and quarterly reviews to gather scope 3 carbon emission data. Throughout the year, we successfully standardised global policies and procedures, introduced a premium freight approval process to limit air freight usage, and strengthened collaboration with freight carriers.
